Kid Sam Hit The Road.

Melbourne cousins Kieran Ryan and Kishore Ryan comprise Kid Sam. Responsible for releasing one of the finest local releases of 2009, the duo are to set off on their first ever national headline tour this March/April.

Kid Sam the album is a debut collection of songs that segue effortlessly from understated pop to all-out countrified kraut-rock n roll. It’s the kind of record that you buy for your friends for no occasion at all. It has earned them breathless reviews, a J Award nomination and most recently, a nomination for the prestigious Australian Music Prize.

The band’s live performance is equally as thrilling, with Kieran’s compelling tales of love lost and won recounted over Kishore’s heady, off-kilter drumming. It has impressed audiences at the national Laneway Festival, Meredith, Falls and

Peats Ridge Music Festivals and supporting Daniel Johnston, White Rabbits and Paul Dempsey.

Along for the ride will be labelmates Seagull (all shows), as well as guest spots from Deep Sea Arcade, Mick Turner and Batrider.
